This game could bring something refreshing to survival games. without having to deal with other players whose only intent is to kill them. Why? Because people actually want to build, explore, fulfill quests, kill bosses, and simply enjoy the game. You can't claim that a survival game like this won't succeed without pvp when there isn't much of its kind, so where are you basing your analysis? On top of that, how many players play Ark, Conan Exiles, and a bunch of other survival games without pvp? A lot. This is largely your opinion and isn't shared by a lot of players who likes the survival genre, a genre that is quite *literally* saturated with open world pvp. It would actually be really refreshing to have a multiplayer, survival, base building game that isn't catered towards open world pvp.
Most multiplayer survival games that we have, which Smalland is, are open world pvp by default. I'm not sure what you mean by "there's no game like this out there".
